Hailing from the vibrant heart of Kansas City, Erick's journey into the world of music began with the rhythmic allure of breakdance and the infectious beats of early hip-hop, alongside the pulsating energy of Miami Bass. Drawing inspiration from pioneers like Dynamixx II, DJ Magic Mike, and Techmaster P.E.B., Erick's passion for music ignited at a young age.

In 1994, Erick embarked on a new chapter of his life when he joined the U.S. Air Force, eventually finding himself stationed at Eglin AFB near the captivating shores of Destin/Ft. Walton Beach in NW Florida. It was here that Erick's DJ career took flight at the renowned venue, "FishHeads," where he seamlessly blended his duties as an active-duty Airman with his newfound love for DJing. Thrust into the spotlight to cover for his friend DJ Penny, Erick discovered his calling and secured his inaugural club residency, marking the genesis of his musical journey.

Even as Erick pursued higher education at Florida State University and later ventured into the corporate realm, his devotion to DJing remained unwavering. Juggling the demands of academia and a burgeoning career, Erick continued to spin beats by night, cementing his reputation as one of the esteemed 'Vital Sounds DJs' in Tallahassee. Balancing daytime obligations with nocturnal performances, Erick's dedication to his craft never waned.

Relocating to Tampa in 2005, Erick found himself immersed in the once thriving breakbeat music scene, rubbing shoulders with local luminaries he once idolized. However, the demands of life led Erick to momentarily set aside his DJing aspirations, focusing on his corporate career and personal relationships. Yet, the allure of music remained ever-present, beckoning him back to the turntables.

In 2020, amidst a wave of newfound hobbies embraced by many, Erick found himself drawn back to his roots, reigniting his passion for DJing and rollerskating. Encouraged by supportive friends and his loving wife, Abby, he embarked on a triumphant return to the DJ booth. Armed with modern technology and a renewed sense of purpose, Erick embraced his true calling, leaving behind the confines of corporate life to pursue his lifelong dream.

Erick has shared his musical magic with audiences far and wide, from intimate weddings to lively corporate events, leaving an indelible mark on every dance floor he graces.
